A father shot and killed his daughter and stepson before killing himself, authorities said.
Police were called to a home in south Fulton County around 10 p.m. Monday after the man's wife ran from the home when the shooting began.
The 2-year-old girl, Chasmin Payne, was found dead at the scene of a gunshot to the head. Keevin Bridges, 7, was hot in the head and was taken to a hospital where he later died, Fulton County police spokesman Gary Syblis said.
The man was identified as Chad Payne, 32, said Meredith Galloway, an investigator with the Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office. Syblis said he had shot himself in the head.
"As for a motive, we don't know that," Syblis said. "It's going to be a domestic situation; we don't know anything else further beyond that."
