Bill Murray Suspected Of Driving Golf Cart Drunk

STOCKHOLM, Sweden -- Swedish police say Bill Murray could face drunken driving charges after rolling through downtown Stockholm in a golf cart.

Police said Wednesday that the actor smelled of alcohol when they pulled over his slow-moving cart.

When asked to blow into a breath test, he refused -- citing American laws, according to detective-inspector Christer Holmlund of the Stockholm police.

So police did it the old-fashioned way with a blood test. Results will come back in 14 days.

The star of "Caddyshack," "Groundhog Day" and "Ghostbusters," who was an Oscar nominee for "Lost In Translation," was in Sweden for a golf tournament.

Murray signed a document admitting he was driving under the influence and agreed to let an officer plead guilty for him if the case goes to court, Holmund said.

Police said that Murray didn't seem obviously drunk, and that he will probably end up being fined.

As for the actor's whereabouts now, police said that he probably went back to America.
